Removing Ocean based oil–rigs is complex as it is expensive. That is why one of the world's largest Petroleum corporations has decided an innovation was long overdue. Take a look what Shell has in the works.
The projected size of the ship is nothing short of staggering. It is expected to be as large as four football fields in length and weigh the equivalent of six aircraft carriers.
The name of the vessel (as per Shell) is going to be the Prelude.
If the sheer size of the vessel isn't surreal enough – the cost will definitely take you by storm. The cost to produce this project will be nearly $10 Billion US Dollars.
